Yahoo was the first website I saw, when I surfed the web for the first time, I Yahoo -ed. Till very recently, i was still in love with the content Yahoo provided but this love affair with Yahoo is on a fast decline. And, believe me it is not a facebook or a Twitter that is responsible for it. It is not even Google. It is Yahoo itself.
One of the first things which I do everyday when I switch on my computer, is to check my Gmail/Google Apps ID and open the Yahoo homepage. The content provided by Yahoo has always been much more niche than a Google News which is just an aggregation.
However, off late I have some really bad experiences with Yahoo and I have mailed them the same. Here are two instances which I gathered within an hour of thinking that I am going to write against one of my favorite Internet companies.

Does Yahoo really care about the quality of content it is giving out? Who edits Yahoo’s content before it is put up on the website? Is there a quality team in place? Are your employees not motivated enough? Is your content just a copy-paste from somewhere else, without any regard given to the quality?
I have been a long time Yahoo lover. But, if this is what Yahoo serves me, I would soon have to say R.I.P Yahoo.
