Block Accidental Touches is not new it is just renamed. You had it right there on the on the Android 7.0 GS8 while you were talking about it. It is called Keep Screen Turned Off.

You want my opinion on Oreo? Here goes, IT'S SH*T so far. My expensive flagship XZ1 compact is just unuseable. Bluetooth connection is just terrible.
