The Web as a medium has evolved from the days of static HTML pages to Web 2.0 and Web 3.0. As the Web grew as a medium, there arose a question of measuring everything that goes on the web. Big companies started gunning for the Web Analytics measurement tools. Google and then Yahoo came out with free and highly efficient Web Analytic tools. As, we entered the 21stcentury, the Internet was ready for the next big step where people became content providers. Facebook,Twitter, the blogging mediums and more recently location services like Foursquare became the playing field for the ‘opinionated and social’ Internet user. The social web had the most engaged and opinionated user to say the least. Yet, again it was time to ‘Do The Math’. But this time around the measurements were a little more complex.
