Remember Jaago Re? Yes, that initiative by Tata Tea? With that chai-cup-wielding, kurta-clad youngster berating people for using the ‘holiday’ that is election day to catch a movie?Jaago Re Well I was clearing out my inbox when I came across my old Jaago Re registration mail, just went to the site to see what’s up now that the next elections are a while away…What I saw was quite refreshing to say the least..They’ve transformed into something more than just voting now, they’re trying to be a centre for all causes.

Tata Tea recently, re-launched its flagship website www.jaagore.com. The portal which was, for the last one year, an online hot spot for aspiring voters to register and obtain all information related to Voter Registration, will now promote other  social issues, such as corruption, global warming, women’s  rights, children’s rights, education

Check out the Interesting stuff that Jaago Re! has to offer.

  • Volunteer to make a difference through the Jaago Re! Social Exchange . NGO members frequently put up projects that need your time & support. You can find a project in your city & opt to volunteer for it right there on the Social exchange!
  • Along with this Jaago Re has much interesting things to offer: Get inside Jagaao, sign up & be part of a thriving community of inspired citizens. Read up & stay informed on important topics like corruption, voting & democracy, women’s rights & more on  Issues page in the Jaago section .  Don’t forget to share your  My Jaago Re! moment , an incident or moment when you felt the need to wake up & take action.

Of course Jaago Re! is not all serious stuff. Take a Tea Break & chill out with fun contests, cool downloads & more.

I think that’s a brilliant idea, a place where people can volunteer for causes and help NGOs.
Give their site a look-see, volunteer if you can, if not, pass it onto your friends. Oh and yes, the website is www.jaagore.com, check it out…
