Google Wave has graduated to Google Apps and for a Google Wave Basher that I have been earlier, I must say I have started using Wave a little more now. Today I was playing a little on How to embed a Google Wave on your blog.
As you see below, I have embedded a public wave which can be edited by anyone.
SO, how do you do it?
- Step 1 -- Create a public google wave by adding public@a.gwave.com to the wave and giving them full access.
- Step 2 -- Copy the wave URL and create an Embed URL at http://www.google.com/webelements/wave/
- Step 3 -- Get the code and paste it in the HTML wherever you want it. To paste in a blog, just use the inline javascript plugin.
And, in these three small steps, you are ready with a small widget which can have videos, images, polls and a lot more embedded into it. Just a peek into the Wave Developer Group and you will realize that Google Wave is actually starting to make some waves as the most complete collaborative environment. Okay, not yet but yes Wave has gotten better. For more customizations just check http://code.google.com/apis/wave/embed/guide.html
