I was born in March of 1995. The new Civic Type R is the only Civic I'm willing to be seen driving, as long as it's blue. If you'd like some background, my first car (which I still have) is a 1985 Mustang GT. My dream car is a 1999 Viper GTS ACR. My favorite Lamborghini is the Diablo. And I HATE crossovers.

Video could have been so much better without all that subjective simplistic blather. All the impressive technical details underneath just glossed over.

I can never get over how absolutely ugly and 'grandma' the looks of the 01 Type R is… just about anything else would have worked. The new one looks overly complicated but it is far better looking. I see the front as an angry samurai and the back… crazy but doable. Actually, completely disagree with Chris…. if you want to complain about looks… you have to call out the old one way before the new one. If you feel you can complain about the looks of the new civic… then you cant say lambos are good looking either.

Sum up the FK8 – The right performance, drivetrain, and steering in the wrong package.
I'd love one to replace my PP GTI – but I can't live day to day with the appearance, it's just awful.

Is this the dude that joined TG? if so i need to start watching TG. Not only he is informative he does admit a few stuff that wouldn't be right to review in a short video. Good work!!

Epic review and spot on, I could afford one of these but as a guy in his 30s I cant get past the styling…"Yeshua / Jesus is the way "

This is a very honest survey. The visual appeal of this car is for teenyboppers only and that stops me right away. Also, performance is not up to the specs it should be and so for me this car is disappointing. I own an 1999 Integra Type R and love it….bought it new….19 years and almost 300,000Kms and I push it to the limit every day. Never touched the motor! Replaced 3 clutches and 3 distributors…that's all. Now, that's a real car! I have the money to buy a new performer, but I just can't part with this special car!

The styling is an overkill in this car. Every angle screams look at me, while the old hatch was simple and timeless in design. Other than the looks this is an exceptional vehicle.

i do't care even if this is the most joyfull car to drive, nothing beats the fact that is just The Ugliest car evermade! If i had to choose between Fiat Multipla and this, i would take the Fiat in a heartbeat
